The Faculty of Marine Technology (FTK) ITS once again held its prestigious international seminar, SENTA 2017. Under the theme “Marine Technology for Sustainable Development”, the conference successfully hosted over 100 research papers for presentation and publication on Wednesday (6/12).

Dr. Eng Muhammad Badrus Zaman ST MT, as the event host, highlighted that the theme was chosen to address global maritime technology advancements in all fields. This includes shipping systems, naval architecture, maritime security, and sea transportation.

Prof. Ir. Daniel Mohammad Rosyid PhD, Dean of FTK, stated that sustainable development in marine technology is vital as the global industry focus shifts towards Asia, with Indonesia and China playing pivotal roles in this maritime evolution.
